The Waterford Waverunners are a youth swim team located in Lexington, KY. They were seeking a new logo design to accompany their new secondary mascot ‘Wahoo’. The client requested a sleek, modern design that embodied the fierce identity of the team. The logo needed to be usable on apparel, swim caps, and digital media.

After a long research process, we found some good imagery ideas and began sketching. Once the layout was solidified, I began vectorizing the design and added the typography. Many hours were spent tweaking the fine details, but we finally found a finished product we were ecstatic about. 

The client was provided with a five-page presentation that provided logo variations, color schemes, typography, logo construction, and mockups.
