Solar Home Kentucky is a solar company located in Lexington, KY. The client requested two elements to be included: a sun and a home. I generated 15 unique ideas throughout a hand-drawn sketching process, and we found an idea we were excited about. 

I proceeded to make 50 variations of that design and fine-tuned it into the final product. We decided on a bright orange / navy color scheme to give it a clean, modern look and also to make it stand out. The icon was accompanied with a condensed, sans serif typeface to keep the clean appearance. 

The client was provided with a brand guide presentation that included the logo construction, color scheme, typography, and mockups.
